Maranta Leuconeura Kerchoveana (Prayer Plant)

Maranta Leuconeura Kerchoveana is native to the Brazilian rainforests and has spectacular foliage, oval-shaped leaves of calming green with warm brown highlights. Being a Prayer Plant, its leaves will move to open up during the day to catch as much light as possible and then closes up at night, this amazing process is called nyctinasty.

Plant Care

• Best located in bright indirect light but also able to adapt to low light settings.

• Don't let the soil fully dry out but be careful not to waterlog the soil. In warmer months water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In colder months allow top soil to dry out 50%.

• Loves high humidity, pop in the bathroom whilst you shower to give it an extra boost.

• Yay! This plant is non-toxic.

Kerchoveana comes in a ø12cm nursery pot.
