Ctenanthe Burle-Marxii 'Amabilis' (Prayer Plant)

Ctenanthe burle-marxii 'Amabilis' has a charmingly full foliage of minty leaves with a contrasting herringbone pattern. As this plant grows it will look lovely trailing over the side of a shelf, but if you prefer an upright plant you can always trim the plant back.

Being a Prayer Plant, its leaves will move to open up during the day to catch as much light as possible and then closes up at night, this amazing process is called nyctinasty.

Plant Care

• Best kept in bright indirect light but also able to handle lower light settings.

• Don't let the soil dry out but be careful not to waterlog the soil. In warmer months water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In colder months allow top soil to dry out 50%.

• Loves high humidity, pop in the bathroom whilst you shower to give it an extra boost.
