Calathea Freddie

Freddie is a beautiful variety of Calathea with a dark green chevron leaf pattern. Being a Prayer Plant it's leaves are able to close up at night! The process is called nyctinasty and the purpose is to catch as much light as possible, then close for protection as the light fades.

Plant Care

• Best kept in bright indirect light.

• Don't let the soil dry out but be careful not to waterlog the soil. In warmer months water when 20% of the top soil has dried out. In colder months allow top soil to dry out 50%.

• Loves high humidity, pop in the bathroom whilst you shower to give it an extra boost.

• Yay! This plant is non-toxic to pets and people.
